| # 135 MANX WHEEL CROSS | ||||
|
This cross design has the circle in the center symbolizing Go, the motionless mover. Although the wheel cross as a whole was originally a symbol of Christ derived from the Chi-rho monogram, it came to symbolize heaven. The interlaced knotwork, so prominent on Celtic crosses represented the beginning and the end of the eternal circle. |
